Hunters Heritage Banquet
Our 2010 Hunters' Heritage Banquet is coming up January 12th, 2010. While always an entertaining event, this year's banquet promises to be a
particularly memorable gathering. As always, we will have our traditional dinner, silent auction, and raffles. For the live auction, we have
lined up some excellent hunt destinations for you from all over the world.
The banquet's special feature this year is our guest speaker, Jim Zumbo. Jim is arguably the country's most prominent big game hunter,
someone who has dedicated his life to supporting and defending hunting, and describing ways for people to become better hunters in his books,
lectures, magazine articles, and TV show. Jim's beat is the outdoors, where he travels more than 250 days each year with rifle, shotgun, and
fishing rod. He has hunted and fished on five continents, including hunting all 50 states for deer, every western elk state, most of Canada, and
more than two dozen hunting trips to Alaska. Don't miss a unique opportunity to hear the stories this master hunter has to tell.
The banquet will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas. Doors open at 5pm. The Renaissance Hotel has allocated a block of rooms
at the special rate of $169 for the night of January 12th. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, December 22, 2009.
