EDUCATION
SCI Austin has been supportive of organizations that help continue our hunting heritage.
 For instance, we have given financial support to worthy programs such as Texas Youth Hunting Program (TYHP), a program jointly sponsored by Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas Wildlife Association, to introduce new and/or inexperienced youth hunters to the hunting experience.
The TYHP program places emphasis on safety, hunting legalities, hunting ethics, and conservation. In addition SCI Austin members have participated as volunteers in TYHP hunts.
SAFARI IN A BOX
Safari In A Box is a collection of tanned wildlife hides, skulls, artificial scat, and rubberized tracks, along with supportive printed educational materials.
Safari In A Box have been donated to numerous worthy organizations, including Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Youth Hunting Program, and several school programs.
